These ok together please ?

ahh right then I might get her to just get the PSU ..as the one she has is a crappy high street cheapo one

and with the money saved on not getting the mobo i might get myself a 3rd SSD :)

Unless you have high consumption components beyond the CPU; you could consider a lower W PSU for less. The savings on purchase price most probably won't be saved with higher efficiency and the the 550w PSU will never be running in its highest efficiency 40-60% load.

This is what I'd do (assuming there's no SSD in the system already!)

YOUR BASKET
1 x Crucial MX100 128GB SATA 2.5” 7mm SSD + 9.5mm Adapter (CT128MX100SSD1) £54.98
1 x SuperFlower Golden Green HX 350W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black £41.99
Total : £106.57 (includes shipping : £8.00).

Stick the OS on the SSD and for an internet browser I think the wife would be very happy :)

Exactly... assuming there is no SSD yet, getting SSD drive is always best performance boost for older PC's. Even cheap budget SSD's will improve computer drasticly.

You big meanie! Let her have one! It would be a very nice upgrade for her needs.

What are you current Steam games installed on?
