in 18", i have 19" super turismos' but if i put suspension on it i think theyre a lot more likely to hit the arches than they do at the minute :p look ok or not ?

edit: assuming of course i can get them to fit.

Current Super T's look great.

By "put suspension on it", do you mean you're going to lower it? Why? Looks low enough already, infact the car looks great. :)

Well, im not entirely sure if its been lowered or not at the moment. as even when i had the standard 18" wheels on it it looked lower than all the other st's id seen. Plus, i think the suspension is kinda on its way out so instead of putting oem stuff on was going to put some coilovers on or something.

Actually, change your wheels. I want those 19"s on my MK2 Foci'.

How much? :D ;)

;) it all depends on if i can find some nice wheels to replace it. Lots of stuff needs doing to the car, this is just one of the *maybe* items on the list :p

It may have had the Eibach lowering springs fitted from Ford (was an option from new iirc).

TBH I'd be looking at taking it to a garage to see if any of the suspension components are worn and need replacing. Will be a lot cheaper than a decent set of coil overs (which are really quite pointless on a road going car, and will rattle your fillings out, if you have any).

Mmmmm those wheels would go very nicely on my Foci'.... :o Where do you live again? :D

lol, I need pic's NOW!

I just happen to have a set in the spare bedroom...

:/

They're 5x108 and 17x6 stock, they'll bolt straight on and if you get them banded to 8" or 9", you'll be able to fit 195 or 205 section tyres and get the Mondeo at it's correct ride height...

...Which is about 3" lower than it is at the back and 4" lower at the front...

*n

If that mondeo was 4" lower at the front it'd be sitting on it's sills and wouldn't go anywhere!

It looks really low now, any lower would look very daft.

It's either running lower than standard or Wayn0r has got some pretty shafted suspension components. ;)

I think you could be right about both statements - shafted suspension + eibach lowering springs standard. We was considering selling it, but having seen the ludicrous prices these are going for these days were gonna run it to the ground! :D so that means i get to spend more money on it when i get some.
