Hi all,

Are these any good? Im a fan of Samsung stuff and the price seems about right, certainly will not see any heavy usage so I am wondering what they are like?

Thanks

They look good, i couldnt find any reviews from a quick google. The specs look like the usual netbook type so i suppose it would be suitable for normal offie work/internet browsing and have around 5 hours battery life. they also look pretty stylish ;).

Also bump.

Yeah. They're excellent. I owned a NC10, and now a N110. There's several in the range with very subtle difference between them. Beware the 3 cell battery in some nc10s. The N140 is the best available, but you have to deal with the purple shirts website to get one and they're unforgivably ****.

I'm using one for uni. Battery life means that without a charger I'm good for most of a day, which is good when lecture halls don't do mains sockets. It's coping well with office/firefox/matlab/vlc but yet to do anything else with it. The NC10 played Morrowind acceptably, so any games up to that point should be fine.

If you can, it's worth getting a second hand ssd and installing that. Battery life improves, but the system runs generally a lot better with one. An old ocz core V2 is fine, it's not stressed enough to stutter. Second hand NC10 + second hand ssd and you're laughing.

Ill probably buy the n130 a bit closerto xmas to replace my dieing acer 5100. i never game on my laptop anyway so may aswell get something small and mobile with good battery life.

@JonJ678:

Do you prefer the N110 to the NC10, if so why? I have been considering these models.

Thanks
