these temps can't be right?

my mum rang me up and said her pc kept shutting down.. so i went round and tried to find out whats wrong..

first thing i did was check temps and i got this...

those temps cant be right?

Spec:

AMD Sempron 3000+ 1.81ghz
256mb ram
Unknow motherboard.. since its a spackard bell
onboard gfx

No, I'd say the CPU temperature is almost certainly wrong unless someone sneaked in with watercooling while your mum wasn't looking, I've yet to see a system where the CPU is significantly cooler than the motherboard without a specialist cooling solution although I suppose it could happen.

Maybe try Speedfan to see if that reports the temperatures differently? I'd check that the heatsink and fan are seated correctly and then try running a few programs like memtest86 and Prime95 to see if they show up any problems. :)
 
It may help using the latest version of Everest (even the trial version) as the last free version of Everest home had a few problems with some temp sensors.
