These temps OK ?

OK so at this moment in time I'm running with an AMD setup ( specs are below )...at idle my 8320 sits at about 36c ( in a cold room )..which is about 10c above my 4670K at idle ( in a cold room ) ...does that sound about right ?..now I'm aware that the 8320 is an 8 core chip...but I don't recall it ever sitting with those temps before

Also I'm not running any OC'ing

Have you got cool and quiet enabled?
Edit: I would also like to add that my i5 is the same, it idles around 26 where as my AMD quad idles at anything up to low 40's, however under full load it only reaches between 48/52.

Don't the AMD cpu's read the temps differently to Intels cpu's?

what program ur using ?
Try using core temp, real temp , aida64 so see if theres any difference

Intel CPUs do tend to idle lower anyway.

The AMD sensors are not accurate till they hit around 40c and upwards. At least with the piledrivers anyway.
