they are at it again

Urgh, I know who I am voting for next, not going to be nice, but they seem to want what the majority of England wants...

They are POLITICIANS. This stuff and worse has been going on for centuries. It's just a big boys' club. Like Mr White, I don't vote, either. I think they are all as bad as each other.

“The processing of the data … could involve causing unwarranted damage and distress,” the Speaker wrote in the letter to the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (Ipsa). “I should be grateful if you and your colleagues would reconsider such a plan.”
Pretty weak argument.

surely thats why the forum has a preview function if you mouse over the thread title :p

Doesn't work on mobile devices :)

This is an interesting one really.

From what I read the opposition is to publishing MP's addresses. Which frankly is fair enough. You should be allowed that privacy. Any member of the public or celebrity would also complain if they're address was publicly published. Let us not forget all the issues with publishing the sex offenders addresses in some parts. I'm not saying MP's are THAT bad, but in certain areas, I could see the British public being a bit aggressive..

That said, I don't see any issue publishing the names of the MP's who are renting their properties though, and who they're renting them too (presuming they're also a public figure).
