Hi, I just bought a Casecom CM-341 from ******.

When I got it out the box I thought it was a very nice case! Looked nice with the piano black finish and was easy to take apart! Then I realised the 80mm case fan supplied with the case was broke! This didn't bother me that much because I never intended on keeping it.

Then it came to installing the front case fan. It clearly states that it can take a 120mm front fan but it can't!! This really annoyed me! Now I'm going to have to drill a few extra holes, cut a strip of metal to fit and squeeze it in!

Anyway, my next worry is that it said it can take and ATX mobo but I'm not sure weather I should believe them! Caseccom say micro ATX on their website but I'm not sure!

Has anyone got this case??

I guess that's what it should look like but it doesn't. This is what it looks like, http://overseas.su/private/overseas-ru/images_load/146/CB_chassis_-_2.jpg?rand=2821818

Its really annoyed me!!! I can still make it fit but its not going to be as effective because ther's a metal bar in the way which I'm going to try and make smaller!! Ther's two holes that it will fit in at the bottom but then I'm going to have to drill two new holes at the top and even then they don't fit that great, luckly I got some rubber grommets with my Antec Truequiet fan so I should be able to bodge it!!!

All I want to know now is if an ATX mobo will fit or am I going to have to get a microATX?

The product description says it supports ATX & M-ATX.

Also on the manufactures site it says it supports 1 x 80mm rear fan & 1 x 120mm front fan.

I know! But it definitely doesn't take a 120mm front fan without heavy modding!

On the manufacturers website it says Mid. Tower/micro ATX case. Does this mean it can take an ATX mobo?

Thanks for you constructive criticism (SiDeards73)! It's not cheap and nasty, it's actually a very nice case! I was expecting a lot worse because I wasn't fussed on the case!

If anyone has one of these please could you let me know if it takes an ATX mobo.

I don't want to send it back because I just want to start building this thing!!!!

Didn't mean any offence but seeing your other thread about what kit your putting into it, just a bit baffled why your skimping on the case? You can get a Bitfenix Shinobi or Zalman z9 for a little more.

Just because I won't be able to see it when I'm using it so I didn't care how it looked + plus I'm trying to save some money somewhere, especially since I keep finding things I really want that are more expensive than I first thought!!!

What's the difference between a cheap case and an expensive case?? Because the build quality of mine is very good for the price.

airflow, build quality, noise reduction

to name a few

Surely it will have good airflow, its an empty space. I'm guessing it's better to suck air in at the front and exhaust it out the back?

Doesn't mean its the best!

When you have a fan screwed to something, the fan sucks air generally though holes, these can cause turbulence and chop reducing the airflow and/or increasing noise. 80mm fans are louder than 120mm fans.

Cheap cases are fine. Just be perepared to have to fight with them to get things installed etc.

I took a 30 second search....every single review Ive read are all negative, from the fan not fitting to motherboards not giving access to the lower 5.25 bay. IMHO, what do you expect from a sub £15 case?

80mm fans are louder than 120mm fans.

This is why I wanted one with a 120mm fan at front!!

One of those negative reviews is me though lol

I guess I'll just have to make things fit!!!!

Yes 1 is yours on e------- (non auction site)....that took me about 5 seconds to read through....theres loads of reviews on other sites all saying the same thing.

All I want to know now is if a standard ATX mobo will fit or not. I don't want to spend any more on a case so I'm just going to have to live with it....which is annoying!!
