Whoever wrote the article forgot to mention Russia as well. Eitherway, Biden, Jinping and Puting should STFU and put their genitalia away as nobody's interested.

They won't because it's all aimed at the domestic audience, it unifies the masses against a common enemy that isn't really a threat anyway.

While they're talking, they're not shooting. Be grateful.

China is in a hurry as they have a demographic time bomb coming as a result of the one child policy - too few working age people to support the aged. Even though the policy is no longer in force, couples are mostly only having a single child still.

The US can play the long game: unfortunately their politicians are only capable of looking as far into the horizon as the next election.

Yet.
They're getting their generals to move the forces and hardware into position and daring eachother into making the provocative move or trigger off an 'international incident' and they'll let things get out of control but it won't be the politicians shooting at each other.

The first world war was about empires
The second world war was about beating the nazis and Japan
The third world war's going to be about mouthing off and national ego and neither Biden, Putin or Jinping can afford to call their generals off and back down becuase neither of them want to appear weak on the international stage and in front of their own people.
