Ironically, these people are probably the real asylum seekers, who face a genuine threat to their lives if they are forced to return home.
The UNHCR does not always recognise war refugees as legitimate asylum seekers. Simply fleeing from a war does not guarantee refugee status, so the UK is under no legal obligation to assist these people.
They have to prove that if they returned, they would be persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion.
If they can't do that, they're shafted.

But yeah, I agree that they should make an effort and integrate, like you lot when go and move to Spain and open a fish and chips next door. English people, in general, don't integrate in Spain and yes, house prices have risen a lot. And if the NHS can't cope is not the inmigrant fault, we are all paying taxes.
