Thief 3 bsod's

So i found Thief 3 in a draw and not playing it for years thought i'd fire it up....well i keep getting bsod's randomly that restart my comp. It's patched and has no mods and i think my hardware is fine as i can play Crysis and Stalker all day long. Anyone had similar problems?

Write down the error code and google it if you can do it fast enough...

I wish i could, i get the bsod for about a second then the comp restarts. :/

Set a timer on a camera then activate thief?

Bit of a pain it doesn't last very long, you tried running it in different compatibility modes?
