Hey guy’s,

Started playing Thief Deadly Shadows again the other day – I loved it the first time round and it still looks good now :p

The Cradle mission still scares the hell of out me!

Just wondering what the future (If any…) holds for the series?

I think I heard somewhere that Looking Glass studios had dispended, has anyone here heard anything?

Looking glass didnt make the last thief game, they disbanded before that and it think ION Storm bought them....
They then went onto make Deadly Shadows...and indeed made a find job of it imho.

Im hoping there will be more but i havent heard anything yet.

So ION are still about? I remember them now - they're logo appears on a loading screen?

There's still a possibility then? Fingers crossed...

If you think The Cradle was bad, try the Cathedral level from the original.

Play it with the lights off for maximum effect :)

That was one of the most intense moments I've ever had in a game!

Was playing with lights out, had taken the item from that chandelier which stirred up the ghosts, fell off the ledge, panic ran out the back door and hid in the garden for 10 minutes crapping myself as they were running about lol.

Superb atmosphere in the Thief series, played on the nerves far better than Doom 3 ever could imo :)
