hi all,

I'm looking for a thin 120mm fan,

I have a ArmorLCS case and I think the pump stops airflow form getting to my 8800GTS,

so planing a bit of case moding with a hole saw, i.e 120mm hole in the bottom of the case and to install a fan to suck in air form under the case and push it straight into fan of the GTS

preferably low RPM and silent

25mm is not thin, its standard, I would guess he means thinner so 20mm.

I know of 140mmx20mm fans that are really near silent but dont have good pressure.

The 800rpm fans will be silent but won't push a huge amount of air. The 1200rpm ones will push a lot more but then are not really silent - certainly not loud though.

but are there any thinner than 25mm, as I don't want it to foul on any new cards, and I don't want it to be to visible

I'm not wanting massive are flow, its just to help the graphics card a bit and that only has a fan of about 60mm

Don't think I've seen 20mm myself, but helmutcheese has seen some. Might be worth looking up some reviews of them though.

You will not hear that fan running, but not a lot of pressure as I said before.

but the scythe 120mm 1200RPM is rated at only 49CFM, I would geus its air flow I want to look at, not , I'm interested in getting as much fresh air into the case below GFX cards fan, where it can do what it want to it.

You asked for Thin, 25mm is not thin its normal, I guessed you wanted it fitted on outer face of bottom of case ) if you have a Window).

yes i did, and yes fitted to bottom of case and yes i have a window, i was just saying the the link you provided shows a better airflow than the Scythe fans, and its only 20mm wide. I was looking for something like 15mm, don't know it 5mm is going to mack much difference.

CFM aint everything, you also need some Pressure but since its not pushing through a Heatsinks fins its not as bad.

I linked to that site as USA, but they are avail in UK, I have 2 of them not in use now as they were too Silent for an highly OC'd NF2 Rig (ran about 1month).

Someone wanted them from me but not sure where he went after added to trust.
