not sure where to put this.

Was having a chat with a friend in a cafe and he said that he has his and his gf gaming rig in a room then uses thin clients around the house on a raspberry pie, and he can play games or anything off the main machine with no lag.

This sounds appealing to remove wires across my floor and simply have a PC hidden away, and connect via a raspberry pie,or even a cheap laptop connected to my display.

Easy to do?

Steam link is probably the simplest way, I believe you can install the OS or similar on a Pi as well but not done it myself. Worth noting you'll want to be using cable or pretty good powerlines, trash ones or WiFi likely won't give you the experience you're after.

What about WiFi6?
