Thin client to connect to RDS server

A customer wishes to replace 20 PC's which act as Thin Clients, with Think Clients. Can anyone recommend a low cost proven solution please?

Money isn't tight but they're a charity so I'd like to offer them something on the lower end of the cost scale.

They'll be connecting to a 2008 RDS server, then moving to a 2012 RDS server next year.

The client runs a training centre for ex cons so they need something that boots straight to the logon screen of the Terminal Sever.
