We have an LG 42" LCD TV which has had absolutely no issues so far, it's about 3 years old. Recently however when it is first switched on there are a few jagged white lines which are horizontal that appear for about a minute or so then vanish completely leaving the TV to work fine for the remainder of the time it is on. Switch it off after its been on for an hour or so and then back on and the lines aren't there at all, like its ok now it has warmed up or something?.
I have to say I haven't tried this on any other input other than my Sky+ HD box so I'm not 100% sure it is definitely the TV, could be the Sky+ box?. The TV is connected to the Sky+ HD box via HDMI. Only other input I could try it on would be the Xbox 360 one which is via component.
Anyone had this before?. Is it a sign of impending doom?.
