Not sure which section to post this in, general hardware seemed the best.
It seems that a few people on here have a makerbot thing-o-matic. I have ordered one and should get it in a few weeks. A question for the existing owners, what do you use yours for ? Any tips on assembling it ? Should I go for the heated build platform over the self unloading heated platform for accuracy ?
I have got mine mainly as a hobby, I have downloaded blender and am going through tutorials at the moment. I really fancy building a working stirling engine with it, maybe something based on this....
