things at work that make you cringe?

So far my managers have been very nice, helpful and compitent (touch wood!!).

My main grip is that our office doesn't have air con, although that's not usually a problem as I work in Aberdeen :P

Due to being savvy with IT and computers any time something that falls under the broad spectrum that is IT gets bounced my way "because I know what i'm doing" Yep i'll just wave my magic wand shall I and get everything to work.

People that are also pretty switched on and know how to do things but duck out with the "I don't know" excuse just to make their working day that bit easier.

Having to write my own performance review, which has now swollen to the equivalent of a job application. At this moment in time I've taken a break from bleating on about how humble I am. Yes, really.

"Ok good point - let's calendarise that to discuss!"

Ok, so I know you're my Director and you're an enormously talented and well-paid guy but 'calendarise' is not a word. No, it is not

Neither is diarise. I use it all the time :/
