Things I don't like (TIDL) thread

That's just a woman-bonding thing, I think... Not known a single bloke ever bring his in to the office, whereas many women will have spent the past 8-odd months of their working pregnancy being supported and advised by the other women in the office.

Pretty much, but even guys do it in our office, but again as a bonding experience for all the ladies, the rest of us dudes dgaf.

People who bring their sex trophies to work. Congratulations, your balls work, one of your little fishies won and this is the result. Awwww, isn't he cute, how old is he? How old are you young man?

This is a place of work. You're not a friend, you're someone I am paid to tolerate, what gives you the impression that I care about your kids? **** off already

'Scuse me, I have some clouds to yell at.

Wholly agree with this. Couldn't believe my eyes when someone brought their sprog into the office a few weeks back. I think it's highly inappropriate for the workplace, and also, annoying as ****.

This is funny, yet I can only see you not wanting kids ever, or having no job at all. Tell me i'm a liar of at least one or more of these.. This is what I got from your post :D

Some of my colleagues bring in their pets or babies from time to time. It's always amusing as one part of the floor erupts into high pitched "awwws" and whatnot. Genuinely, I think it's great. But then again I get on well with animals and kids so have no issues. Long as someone else picks up tehir poos or wipes their vomit, I'll handle the rest of being goofy and all that jazz :D

Drivers who ignore signs. Too many times do I see someone making a u turn when it's clearly sign posted not to and also a turning right down a road when a sign clearly forbids it.

People who just throw the bin on the path anywhere. Atleast place it up near the wall or the side, whichever is slimmest and allow us with prams or even wheelchair users to get by safely.

Also those who park next to narrow paths and don't have the decency to close in the wing mirror.

Things I don't like? The fact that some workmen have erected bright yellow flashing lights and have just started hammering away at the surface with pneumatic drills and a small digger a few doors down. Yes, they thought 22:30 a good time to start digging the road up in a quiet residential street where people are trying to sleep.

Yup, absolutely. I'm fairly alright with kids, but I don't want them running around being annoying when I'm trying to work.

Well that depends what the nature of the dig was for. When the power went off to half my street they started digging at night to fix it. Sorry if we are disturbing your sleep but I would just like to have my power back on.

Threads about negative subjects that promote everyone to whine and winge about stuff that is nothing compared to the tragedy of people in harsher countries and situations

Our boss's dog comes in quite often. It's a cool pooch. I'm also a big fan of animals, so I'm generally pretty pleased to see it. It did sit by me yesterday for the entire time I ate my lunch, though. I don't believe you should feed other people's pets so all it could do was sit and watch.

More hilariously, the dog had been hanging out in the board room one day. There was no one up there, but I went up for some reason. It REEKED. The dog had left a huge turd in the far corner of the room. Genius! I just left the room.

Amazing :D I'd have taken a short video of dog, then panned over to the turd :D
