Things to do in LA (weekend)

Either drive north along the coast to ssnts barbara, or headboard the San Bernardino or San Gregorio mountains
 
Sightseeing, day at the beach, Disneyland in Anahiem, take a long drive down the coast, play some golf on a public course.
 
Rent a hooker. Go to the Beverly hills hotel. Go to rodeo drive for some shopping and then go for a fancy meal. Finally go to a polo match.
 
A few of the famous sightseeing places (including holywood, Beverly Hills etc...) and then drive out of LA to somewhere nicer! :p

Joking aside there is plenty of things to do in LA, it depends on what interests you. I personally don't like LA but it is worth visiting.
 
The car museum in Hollywood is pretty cool. See the original batmobile and other famous movie cars in the flesh.
 
Did Griffith last visit (only had a free evening, amazing views in the evening)

What is the car museum and is the proper batman car from the 60s ?
 
I just got back from LA for work and had a couple of weekends there. I did the Science Centre one day to see the Endeavor Shuttle. That was ok, slightly too child friendly! Also have family there so we often cycle from Marina Del Ray along either to Santa Monica (nice to wander around) or Friday we went the other way to Manhattan Beach which is great. I'd highly recommend hiring a bike and doing that. Venice is full of crazies but great fun to see.

Personally, I work in the industry so don't find Hollywood itself that appealing. Seeing the nicer West Hollywood and Beverly Hills is nice but not much beyond that. Central Hollywood with the stars etc is pretty much a dump and you'll be bored within 30mins.

Get yourself to Stout Burger by the way :cool:

More fun than a hooker (just) but renting a crap Harley and heading up into the mountains with the aim of getting back for 1700 and laying on the beach for a hr or so.
