My wife works for a company based in Esher and works remotely as we're dirty northerners.

Now that covid etc has calmed down, they've asked her to go down and meet the team/go out for a meal and stuff.

Due to a few medical issues she has, i wasn't keen on her driving/getting the train down, so have suggested i take the Friday off work, we head down on the Thursday night, then she can spend Friday with her colleagues and i'll find something to do, then we can come home on the Saturday/Sunday.

My initial thinking was that it's not far from the Thames so could take my paddleboard down, or take my bike, or just go for a long run for a few hours. Weather is likely to be grim as it's towards the back end of November.

However, i'm also wondering if there is anything particular that's worth checking out? Either on my own on the Friday or for us both on the weekend.

Just thinking off the top of my head from cycles I do around that area (outdoor exploring).

RHS Garden Wisley, Surrey Hills, Epsom Common. Some nice looking villages and towns around there also.

Cheers, i think this idea is likely winning to be honest. Although given i only bought the bike last week i think i might need to get some practice in!

Coral Reef Bracknell's Waterworld

Cheers, that actually looks fun. Pirate ship sounds awesome. Might suggest it for the Saturday as not sure i'd want to go solo.

Pedal bike.

It's likely to be Friday the 19th November i think. So fairly specific from an event side of things.
