16 gb 3000Mhz
512 gb m.2
4 tb wd hdd

any help would be appreciated

A quick Google says it could be something to do with the current graphics display drivers, they stop responding so windows will stop and try to fix it...

Have you got latest drivers for GPU and Motherboard installed

gpu drivers are from july (think this is the latest version)

not sure how to check or update a bios.

will it show in the device manager if my bios needs and update?

thanks

I had this. I updated my bios and done a windows install. That fixed it for me. I tried loads of different drivers but it kept happening. My windows install was only around a month or 2 old when it started happening so pretty fresh. Now my machine is as stable as it should be. My machine is what's in my sig.

Is this the same pre built system you were having issues with in your other thread?

If so, as I suggested in there, get back in touch with the supplier. It sounds like they’ve sold you a pig. Or at the least they’ve just humped a load of components into a case and sent them to you without any stability testing at their side.

what motherboard do you have? Is it easy to upgrade the bios?

Yes its the same pc...i have been told it could be a 3 week turn around to get the pc looked at and fixed. My son “cba” waiting...

Just noticed there is a new “beta version” of the bios available....mite give it a go

you're call but if i bought a pre built system and it was as unstable as this one seemingly is it would be going back, irrespective of my sons opinion.
