I stopped using my pc for games about a year ago and bought a 360 as I was getting tired of trying to keep up with the latest graphics and other equipment because most of the games at that time seemed to be crappy console ports so I thought "why not go to the source and play the games on a console?" which is exactly what I did and haven't looked back since.
My pc had a downgrade to a cheap Radeon 4500 HD card and is now our media centre and I'm not using most of my spare time trying to get an awesome score on 3D Mark and tweaking, tweaking again and then tweaking one last time before finally booting up a game, playing for 5 minutes and turning it off again.
With my 360 I really play the games - all the way through (well, except for the really bad ones) so it was definitely great value for money (I bought a second hand one for £50 but have since got a 250gb slim)
It's a shame that consoles can't really do RTS as I miss playing the Empire games and CoH but I'm used to the controller now so FPS aren't a problem (they were a nightmare for me at the start but I practised until my thumbs bled and now it feels pretty natural).
All I need now is a PS3 as some of the exclusives look awesome. I am definitely converted to console gaming though.
