ok.... my system is currently running with a twinx (2*512) corsair CMX512-3200XLPRO.
i have a spare slot here so i figured i would stick in another gig of ram....
the mistake i think i have made is the 1gig stick i bought was the CMX1024-3200C2PRO.
so when all three sticks r in my comp doesn't boot. cant even enter the bios.
2 lil letters in the name...i guess i should have checked the timings...
so would i be right in assuming that because i have the timing on auto in my bios and the 2*512's are rated at 2-2-2-5 and the 1*1024 is rated at 2-3-3-6 is causing my comp not too boot?
have i wasted my cash or can i force the 1gig too run at 2-2-2-5 or a not so good solution force the 2*512's too run at 2-3-3-6?
if anyone has a different solution or knows if this will/won't work can u let me know pls.
oh and its not running duel channel.....skt 754 m/b.
thx.
