So with building my new loop I took the time to take out my old PA120.3 and give it a good clean. Filled it full of distilled vinegar, forgot about it and accidentally left it like that for a good 15 hours.

Now im leak testing and the front and back of the first third of the rad feel a bit damp.

Has me stupidly leaving it full of vinegar that long knackered it ? :/

Fill up your bath, and block one of the intake holes on the radiator ..... put it under the water and take a piece of tube and blow thorugh the other inlet/outlet hole on the rad. If there are air bubles coming out you have a leak :D

A real good leak test on a rad is to hook up a garden hose to one inlet and block the other. If mains pressure doesn't make it leak, your pump won't.
