just started to play the witcher 2 and i'm sad to say that my vapor-x 5770 just doesn't cut it, have to wind back to much on the eye candy in order to get decent frame rates. has served me remarkably well for almost 18 months, but sadly i gotta accept that it just aint up to the job anymore.

i had originally planned to hold off until bfbc3 was released before upgrading my gpu, but i think i gotta do it now in order to enjoy the witcher 2.

so the big question is, what do i go for. i've managed to squeeze together a budget of about 220 notes tho i could, if needs be, stretch to 260 ish.

current full spec is i5 [email protected], HD 5770 VAPOR-X, BENQ 24" LED @ 1920x1080

so any advice, bearing in mind that i'd wanna to also be playing bfbc3 when it appears at decent frame rates too, and i do appreciate that as bfbc3 aint got any speccies out yet that this bit of the request is partially hpyothetical.

here's hoping !

Do you want to stay ATI?

If not this is a nice deal this weekend

If you want ATI I would prob grab one of these and clock it to around 900...

If you want to "stretch" then get a 6970 of your choice.

Or if you want cheapskate that will keep you going abit longer

Just grab another 5770 and crossfire!

6970 Is your best bet then if you want max single GPU power.. I would prob say get a 6950 though and clock it and put the cash towards your next card? 900 Mhz will give you pretty much 6970 speeds?

Or get that 570 on offer?
