Hi there
Put a GTX 260 in my PC about 6 months ago - worked fine originally but shuts down when playing some games I've got since then. Consistent behaviour with certain titles as soon as you go from menus/cutscenes to actual game.
I am pretty sure it's a power issue. GTX260 needs 2 x PCI-E power connectors, existing PSU is maybe 5 years old, some sort of Akasa, 400w. It doesn't have PCI-E connectors, so I used Molex => PCI-E adaptors. They are also both plugged in to the same Molex "chain" which probably doesn't help...?
So, what should I get? Can't seem to see PCI-E connectors specified in many OC product listings... needs to be cheapish. Any ideas?
