This is my rig's specs:

1090T(stock speed)
GA-790FXTA-UD5
HyperX Blu 1333Mhz/16GB
2xSapphire 6950@6970 2GB CF
Xonar Essence STX
2xCrucial M4 64GB RAID0
4xSpinpoint F3 1TB
Toughpower 850W 80+

I wanna sqeeze the best out of it, for gaming purposes. Think my cpu needs some oc to reach its full potential, and if so by how much?
My 6950s are already unlocked and currently i score about 7600 points at 3dmark11.

Hi,

Set ya volts to 1.4?? (5/6/8) FSB to 200, mutlp x 20/21 = 4012++... thats's one way to try... easy.

Ya not using stock cooler right?

(im 955BE @ 4.2 200 x 21 = 4212)

Yep as above, should sit at 4ghz all day long with the right cooling/settings

You may not get 4 Ghz stable at 1.4v

If not! Bump it up to 1.45v and take it from there providing you have adequate cooling.

For cooler, i use Arctic Freezer 13 pro. Thanks for the replies, at first i will give it a shot at 4ghz without passing 1.4v. If it's not stable i will raise the voltages.
