Leadtek GeForce 7950 GT EXTREME 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-093-LT)

what do peeps think? wanna know b4 i place me ordeR?

i got tht x1900xt but the nvidia card is a lot less hassle to work with. then again it does depend on if you get a faulty or working card.

I'm not sure why the NVidia card is going to be easier to work with? Unless your talking about SLi and Crossfire?

Both cards should be very good, the X1900XT being slightly faster, and the 7950GT being quieter.

The other thing to mention is that the issues regarding NVidia cards that failed were with the 7900s. The 7950 is a respin that should have fixed all those problems.

The x1k series can be (if you are new to ATI cards) a right pain the arse to overclock and also the drivers imo arn't that well laid out compared to nvidias offering*.

*I have not used the latest style of nvidias drivers so I am comparing the 80's and backwards.

Of course if noise output and space are a priority it may pay to get the 7950.

I doubt you would be dissapointed with either card.

Personally I would take the X1900XT as its cheaper.
