I happily played on my ageing system, 6 year old c2d and gtx260. Noticed on a few newer games few stutters and not so bright details. Upgraded everything but the gpu and I thought all was well still, but opportunity came to update the gpu as well. OMG. I had seriously forgotten why framerates are so important to any game, especially FPS and racing. How could I be so wrong. If you think all is well. Think again. I'll no longer be content to think what I have is good enough and I must remember to remember that the gpu is still a critical part and I must not neglect it. You forget what your missing and how games should play. Has anyone one else upgraded lately from an aging system and noticed this... Happy days are here again for me.
