Hi all

recently did a self build,

never had to apply thermal compond before so was worried about fitting correctly, as u can imagine i was interested to check out my temps.

the board temp is at 35 degrees however my cpu temp is showing as 18-19 degrees regardless of how long i have had the pc running,

now i know the TT is a great cooler but i dont think its that good!

so anyway i can fix the temp gauge? if nto how vital is it? obviously i dont know if the cpu is overheating or what average temps it reaching at the moment?

Thanks all

Loki

ah sorry i didnt realise there was more than one with the 900 in the name when i did my sig, yeah it is definatly the nine hundred gaming case sorry for the confusion, will give that prog a try and see what it comes up with

thanks

ok ran core temp program it shows three temps

Tjunction 85 degrees

core 1 : 21 degrees
core 2 : 23 degrees

now if these r correct im more than happy with the 21 n 22 but what the hell the Tjunction because 85 degrees sounds insane!

Edit** found out what Tjuction is so thats cool, does the 22 n 23 sounds like the temp thing is getting a true reading?

given that the main board temp is showing at around 34 degrees is it possible that the cpu's can be so much lower? or is it more likely that the temp sensor is still playing up?

thanks

brill cheers for the input guys.

wasnt sure if i was going to overclock or not but i didnt want to touch anything untill i knew that the temps were ok.

(u wouldnt beleive how stressed i was applin the artic silver)
