Think my LCD is starting to flicker

I have a DELL E228WFP which i bought from the member market. but it was hardly used, i bought it end of May this year

I am sure ive seen it flicker a few times this morning are there any programs that could help fix this? or do some testing?

Have you tried fiddling with the refresh rate and seeing if that helps?

Is the monitor making any unusual noise e.g. humming?

no nioses which is a good thing
not sure how i can change the refresh rate on LCD's

The refresh rate will be accessable through the "Advanced" tab of your Display settings

doh! i knew i should have unticked the box

well it does display 75Hz (I didnt think it could)
