Hi all

Seems my O2 sensor has gone on my Honda Civic IMA (hybrid) 2004 model.

Error Codes:

P0135: O2 Sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 1 Sensor 1)

P0134: OS sensor heater circuit no activity detected (bank 1 sensor 1)

Been looking around to try get parts but think cheapest I can find it is for £184 just for the part :( and honda said for the part and fitting would be £231 :(

Any recommendations of places i can find the parts cheap other than breakers yard as idealy dont want secondhand/reconditioned parts.

Not 100% sure where the sensor is on my car as is all manners of covering on it and its been raining for past 2 days so can't have a look under the bonnet.

O2 sensors i've seen in past are just a single plug which is easily to spot, do honda use a different type of sensor?

You need to check what sort of lambda sensor (Oxygen sensor)

It wont be a single as that was pre 92 Honda that didnt feature a heated sensor.

I may be a typical sensor with 4 wires that are pretty generic. If its a 5 wire LAF wireband sensor that tells the ECU the actual air fuel ratio in the exhaust (usually equipped on lean burn car) then that would explain the high price.

Can you delete the codes?

I have cleared the codes but the engine management light came striaght back on.

just had a quick look and seems there is 4 sensors on the car did'nt count the wires could hardly see the things
