Well my pc has suddenly decided to die on me tonight it froze and wouldn't reboot when pressing reset button so had to turn off via psu now it won't even boot no signal to monitor even when using onboard gpu or even on my 970.. Took everything down to bare minimum booted with 1 stick of ram unplugged all ssds hardrives etc I'm getting code 69 on my motherboard led.. Ive tried to reset cmos, take battery out etc :(

Specs are.

I5 2500k
Asrock extreme 4 Gen 3 latest bios
8gb corsair ram
Geforce 970 which is 3 months old.
Xfx 650 psu
Crucial m4 ssds
Samsung 2tb hdds

Im not getting any beeps or anything... **** knows what's wrong :(

Anyone have any ideas?

Hmm ok cheers guys cpu is watercooled so will have to take the block out off and try resit it..

The board is a few years old now is it still possible to RMA them?

Most warranties are non transferable, might be worth contacting the manufacture and asking if it is covered even though you no longer have the purchase receipt.

Yea but just to much hassle considering how old it is.. Hopefully its only the mobo that's borked so gonna look into a z77 and keep my i5 2500k I had it clocked at 5ghz under water on the asrock and I only game on this pc so think that's the best route to take.

Ive read in mobo forum someone had the same code error 69 on the same motherboard and his was down to broken ssd.. But I don't have any ssds or anything connected and still get the same error hmm :(
