Think my thermalpaste expired :(

I have reset my HSF over 10 times (no exaggeration) and this is the best temperatures i can come out with, are these higher than average?

I have tried applying a lot of thermalpaste and very little and its either the "good" result below or even worse!

Antec 900 case with fans on medium
i7 920 C0 - Which is best cooler to get around 4ghz that is extremely quiet?
Megalodon - which fans?
True which fans?
Noctua?

Think my thermalpaste could have "expired" as it doesnt seem to help much

Noctua or the Thermalright Ultra are probably the better coolers, I run the Sharkoon 2000 on my TRUE.

Can any one advise as to the 'shelf-life' of thermal paste? I likewise have some high idle temps on my e6750 and im wondering if it could be the old thermal paste i used

How long have you had it?

I recently just re-designed my watercooling and used some arctic silver I have had for about 2 - 3 years. Works just as well as it did when i bought it.

I noticed that my AS4 (or maybe 3) started to solidify into more of a paste than a "goo" after a number of years. I'm guessing it has a shelf life.
