would my system be fast enough to play the latest games? see in sig. I have just bought a HIS 512MB x1900xt card and overclocked it to the xt-x version, Im also going to upgrade to 2gb aswel.

Got 1 question...... hows the tearing on the 2407, do you still need to use vsync? cos my "ViewSonic VX912 19inch 12ms lcd" is terrible without vsync.
 
Got mine on friday! I dont use v-sync and my gfx card runs cod2 at max res without even having to try!

BUT i can see banding on certain things :(

Edit. What are the 1 2 3 4 5 numbers for on the bottom of the screen? :confused:

Depending on what input your using, it will show a different number, on my 2007WFP "1" is VGA, "2" is DVI and the others are SVIDEO and composite (not tried them so dont know which number is which).

No it doesn't, it just caps your FPS to your monitors refresh rate (60 probabilly), I am sure the human eye cant notice anything more than 40fps anyway.

Ive heard sombody say this before and i still find that to be aload of rubbish
My eyes can see a dramatic increase of performance between 40 fps & 100 in some games, where as others you just cant tell

You must have bionic eyes, I could only tell the difference on a CRT, but I think that was because the 60hz just hurt my eyes more than anything else.
