1200 is better, I have been through a 900 and now to a 1200. The 900 felt too small inside.

900 is a very good case...only real problem is the dust build up
I have a 900 and its plenty roomy etc, it had blue led' fans all over the place which i replaced with yate loons, but its still too loud what with 7 fans in the system and it lights up like a xmas tree not good for downloading when ** tryin to sleep!

I've had a 900 for about 2-3 months and I really like it. I'm running a similar setup to you OP. E2140 @3Ghz, trusty 965 DS3, 2 GIG of ram, 8800gt etc.
I really like the case. I think it has ample room for what I have. Another factor was the dust. People said it collects dust like a hoover, but as long as you hoover the room its in every week I've not found it to be a problem.
1200 = too big
300 = too plain and not that cheap when you factor in two decent 3 decent fans.

Agreed - perhaps some home made filters are required (is there room to attach filters on the front of the fans?). My brother's 900 has a nice gray coating inside even with it off the floor

have built pc's using 900 and 1200 and the 1200 in my opinion is a better case by far.

yep, not really much difference between 900 and 300, so 300 is better (amount of space is also about the same) and cooling really is just as good. just buy 2 decent 120mm fans and your away.
