thinking about a macbook pro!

never thought i'd say this, but i'm starting to get seduced by the idea of buying myself a macbook pro. I'd be aiming for a 15.4" model with 4 gigs, but i know they're pricey compared to similarly priced pcs. I've never really been a mac user but the macbooks just seem so sleek and well made...

feel free to persuade / dissuade me!

and also, would it be worth chucking vista on there? Do i need a special mac compatible vista cd??

I have one of the last model mbp's and I like it. feels really sturdy and nice, and it still looks as shiny as the day i bought it..

That said.. there are some drawbacks - it gets really really hot sometimes (maybe they fixed this in the new version though) this is usually in games tho, and obviously its overpriced, but you can make your own mind up about that

You can install vista fine, you dont need a special cd or anything, just the normal vista disk
