Hi
I'm currently in the states on a university exchange program, as such I've been using my laptop a lot more. This has made me realise that for me my t61 is a bit too heavy with too short a battery life
I've been considering getting a new laptop when I return to the UK, currently I have a lenovo thinkpad t61p.
My whish list in order of preference
-long battery life of 5+hours
-light
-switchable gfx via optimus or similar
-matte screen
-gigabit ethernet
I've been doing a bit of searching on the net and it seems that the m11x r2 fits my checklist, with the only problems being the glossy screen and the lack of gigabit ethernet
Basically my post here is to check if there are any alternatives or reasons why I should not go for the m11
The laptop will be used for office, web, possibly cad and compiling computer code as well as occasional gaming
any thoughts?
