Thinking about an upgrade

i think they have yellow and red lights to show you how high you're revving

How does that work? Or do you just mean they light up in a different way?

Just warning lights as the engine warms up. Instead of the standard fixed yellow/red zones on a standard display, there are a sequence of yellow, then red lights, with the yellow ones starting at 4.5, red at 8 I think. As the engine warms up the yellows progressively go out, leaving 1 at 7.5 once fully warmed up... Not driven a standard z4 for a while so can't remember if they have these or not! Will take a photo tonight when I go home & post later.
