Thinking about buying a Wii

Firstly, I'm not a console person. I don't mind having the odd go on one but never thought I'd want to buy into the newer generation.

However, I've had a couple of goes on a Wii (Wii Sports) and I;m hooked. Very simple games but so playable and fun especially when a group of mates are playing.

Besides Wii Sports whats out there at the moment (gamewise) thats worth buying? I'm going to shop around for a Wii but would appreciate some game recomendations.

I'd suggest picking up Wii Play with an extra Wiimote. It's not as good as Wii Sports, but works out at around 5 pounds when you buy them together. Well worth it for Duck Hunt, Spot the Mii, Lazer Hockey etc.

Other games to consider - Zelda TP, Resident Evil 4, Mercury Meltdown, Eledees, Wario Ware, Kororinpa, Mario Strikers.

'd avoid Tiger Woods and Red Steel like the plague. Sometimes I still wake up in the night, screaming.
 
Rayman Raving Rabbids, Wario Ware and Mario Party 8 are all mini-games that you can just pick up & play, as opposed to sitting down for mammoth gaming sessions.
