You're probably better off with an ATI 1800 or 1900 card as they are better performers when it comes to oblivion. If you're a hardcore Oblivion fan like I am then you might want to go for the X1900XT 512mb available for £242.

just get an x1800xt the difference between the 2 cards is the x1900xt has more shaders nothing else, wich means you save £100 unless you want more shaders that only increase your fps by 10% compared to an x1800xt

ta for the reply. Bought an x1800xt 256mb. just over 200 notes. not too bad. 6800CS I bought a week ago kept frying itself :D

7900 GT would have been the better buy :(

Oh well, X1800 XT is still a great card, have fun with it :)
