Currently I am using a Logitech MX3100 Mouse/Keyboard combo which comprises the MX1000 laser mouse and the MX3000 keyboard (both wireless). Works very well together. However the mouse is being dodgy now - buttons not working properly/pads getting worn :/

I was thinking a Logitech G5 or G7 to replace it with and a shiny keyboard to go with. I don't know which keyboard to go with - any recommendations?

Also I have been using a teflon baking sheet for a mouse mat but it's getting rather old and damaged so it needs replacing - whats best in the mousemat line as I can't be bothered with the hassle of duck taping things to my desk :o

My main use for the PC is gaming so any help along those lines would be great :)

Hehe, you wont find a slippier more responsive surface than the flexible teflon baking sheet I'm afraid, but please prove me wrong.

Watch out if changing to another wireless Logitech mouse like the G7 as setpoint may not work with the keyboard mouse combination as I found out with my DiNovo keyboard and G7 mouse :-( Grrrr

You'd have thought they would work being from the same manufacturer, but no, that would be too easy, the di-novo uses bluetooth and only certain setpoint software supports this, which does not work with the G7.
The G7 version of the setpoint software does not support bluetooth, so I'm scuppered.

Went and bought an Enermax Aurora wired keyboard. Very nice indeed for typing on, but then again I can't stand normal profile keys and much prefer laptop keyboards, so this one suits me perfectly.

To be honest it's kinda worked out for me OK as I always intended to use a wireless keyboard with my Media PC anyway and the wired is fine with my main rig.
