Thinking about doing the upgrade from Win7 to 10

It keeps popping up on the desktop so whats the best way to do it? Just follow the steps? Or try for a clean install?

Is there a down side to just following the upgrade process

You have to do the upgrade before you can do a clean install; or buy a copy.

Try the upgrade using the download.

If you hit issues (many people have), download the ISO and perform an upgrade using that.

If you still have issues (again, many have) you can then either Reset the PC from within Windows 10, or clean install from an ISO, skipping the key.

thanks for the tips guys, i ended up following it as an upgrade and it went perfectly, will create an iso for the future but so far all seems ok! had an issue with 1440p looking too small and blurry but the nvidia win10 driver has sorted that
