Thinking about getting a laptop...

Hi All

Think about getting a laptop to be used in a number of places (away from my desktop and home, on the train, on holiday etc...). Looking for a spec which will allow the use of a number of development tools mainly flash, visual studio photoshop, flash builder/flashdevelop as well as a bit of gaming.

Been looking at Asus N52JV-EX342V but the only thing that puts my off is the weight.

Anyone have/used one and have experience of slogging the thing around?

If you're wanting to do development work how will you cope with the low res screen? Personally I'd want a at least a WSXGA+ 1680x1050 screen.

Well that is all part of the dilemma of balancing performance, price, weight and everything else.

Considered a mbp? not a fan boy never used them, but they are apparently really productive, with light gaming capabilities. Dont know if you can use flash developent etc, never seen anything, maybe someone hear can clarify what a mbp would be good at for OP?
