Thinking about getting a Macbook 15"

Looking around on theBay i could get one of these Apple MacBook Pro "Core 2 Duo" 2.2 15" (SR) Specs in v.g condition for under £500.

Will be for a bit of internet/youtube/word nothing too strenous.

Is it reasonable to expect this machine to fit the bill? What should i specifically look out for and what should i avoid?

More than good enough. The only thing I can think of is the edge of the case can dig into your wrists at certain angles.

I have an MBP 13 with a 2.16ghz C2D and it handles all of those perfectly well.
