Hi everyone,
I've had my Nad c320 bee since 2004; I was intending to replace it some time ago, but never got round to it. With it's intermittent dry joint issues, I've decided it's now time I replaced it.
I'm thinking of getting the Sony STR DN 860 AV Receiver, I've looked at Yamaha as well, but this seems like a very good contender. It will be used with my Heybrook HB150 standmounts and Mordaunt-Short MS308 sub-woofer in 2.1 configuration - as these are all still going strong; so I won't be using it in full 5.1 or 7.1 configuration yet, but intend to buy some more speakers in mid 2017.
I've been attracted to this particular AV receiver, because it's rated highly and priced well (around £300 which is where my budget is). I'll be able to use the HDMI with my TV (using for Prime mainly) and Blu-ray player. It also has networking facilities as well.
Additionally, I will be able to demo it with other AV receiver equipment over the coming week.
I've decided to move away from stereo to a multi-channel solution as it's just a whole lot more versatile for me at this time considering all the time I seem to be spending on Prime these days!
Any thoughts from anyone are most welcome, thanks.
