looking into getting a bike.
have hit 30, cars just dont have the same excitement they used too and i'm considering switching to 2 wheels for a bit of weekend fun.
now i dont have a bike licence (did some riding when i was in my teens but need to do it properly now being a sensible family man and all)
so am i right in thinking that it goes
apply to dvla to have bike provisional added to car licence
cbt(after which i can ride a 125cc on L plates?
theory
hazard perception
bike practical
whats the best route to go direct access or 2 yr restricted (obviously a waay waay down the line)
any recommendations for a decent (ie wont get laughed at ) learner bike.
any suggestions for explaining to the wife i want to join the leather trouser brigade.
