at home, you?
been looking at hydro dipping my bitfenix outlaw case, however, im not sure as to how it would take on the bitfenix soft touch front portion of the case, have already cut myself a side window for it and put some perspex in.

if anyone is handy with photoshop, fancy doing me a preview? :D

wanting this camo

just fancied doing something different with my case, anyone had any joy with going over the bitfenix soft touch with paint/dip or anything similar?

Just done the side and top panel as chances are hydo dipping the soft touch plastic won't adhere very well. Possibly if you took some sandpaper and took the soft touch coating off it would work.

Still looks awful in my opinion, but if you like the look then go for it.

ooh thank you cypto, i have emailed a local company who does it, gona take a drive blanking bay in and get them to test it on that first i think, i dont fancy sanding it all down first tbh lol

Would the soft touch covering not just peel off. An alternative could be camo vinyl wrap. Enter that in google and it will direct you to the big auction site.

nope it wont peel off sadly, iv been lookin at the vinyl wrapping, and im considering it for the front panel, thinking about going white, as iv never seen a white bitfenix outlaw before, my original plan was to have the whole case powder coated in white, but i would still have that front panel to work with

My only thoughts on that, is the cost of hydro dipping. powder coating etc. It's rather expensive compared to the price of the case new. + you can get a white case stock from bit fenix which will save you from the headache of matching up the plastic with metal.

ok i retract my previous post.......now iv seen a white one lmao, dont like the fact the side window has no mesh panel (even tho id want to cut it out for a side window like i have done for mine) but seeing as tho its christmas, i might just buy the white one lol or shall i say get the missus to buy me it :D

Sounds like a solid plan. Not having the mesh is a bonus then if your cutting in a window as there is more strength to the material when cutting. You can also pick exactly where you want your window.

Another thing that came to mind is you might be able to swap out the orange mesh inserts for the back ones from your old case.
