thinking about sli

What resolution are you running and what games do you play? Are there any games your current GPU is struggling with and does Google show they play nicely with SLI?

Would like to know this also.

Looking at going 3 x 27" (Surround) at 144hz with 2 x 980ti's. Probably would be fine but still interesting to know.

Not bothered about lowing some settings either.

am just going 1 screen but its a 48" curved Samsung 4k got a load of overtime payed in and the cash is burning a whole in my pocket lol

You've got the perfect card to SLI, too. I'm considering the exact same thing, although for high refresh rates at 1440p instead of 4K. Won't ever put two open cards in SLI again, not worth it due to the heat / noise for me personally. But that Hybrid will really come into its own when in SLI as your temps (and, by extension, noise) won't be a whole lot different than a single-card setup.

Wait for Black Friday and keep your fingers crossed!

Slightly OT but what would you say the chances are for the Hybrid to receive some BF/CM love? i had a feeling they'd discount older cards and leave the high-end stuff alone, but hopefully I'm wrong. Not really got involved with Black Friday stuff before!

Definitely SLI the TI's.

I am currently playing at 1440p on my 4k monitor as I cant run some of my games at the graphics settings I would like at 4k.

I am going SLI as a xmas present to myself lol

980 Ti SLI at 3440x1440 has been absolutely phenomenal. I end up using 2160p DSR for games like MGS5 and day time in Afghanistan is mindblowingly beautiful.

For 4K, two 980 Tis are essential if you want to be able to use at least high settings with minimal FPS drops.

Also SLI is the real deal, I was really sceptical and apprehensive before I tried it but it's been a flawless experience in every game I've played so far.

Size of screen doesn't matter it's the pixel count that is what matters it could be 3 mile screen but only be 720 res. Could use your Intel cpu for that lol.
