Looking for input. May want to get the HP LP2475w instead... I may also want to wait until DisplayPort cards come out because I hate input lag!

Thats a lot of money to spend! The first thing i thought was for that much money I would want a better HD. I just can't see how that will give you £1800 of improvement over what you already have. What is it you want to improve on?

I've heard that the CPU cooler may not fit in the case if I don't remove the Fan, that may be troublesome, no?

I've got 1.5TB of space from other drives, so i *may* need a bigger OS drive, that is true. I want something that performs well of course.

I'm not sure what I want to improve on, really, I would love a 300GB Velociraptor but that is, would you believe it, a bit too much ;)

I've used ATI cards, but never owned them in my own systems, so I am not a fan.
I've had a LIAN-LI case and was very impressed, but that case looks a lot bigger and uglier than the Cosmos S, also I am not sure about the silence factor, which is important.

I think I will swap the HDD for a VelociRaptor 300GB, it is correct to think that the HDD is weak. I'll also NOT get that monitor.

Motherboards? As far as I've seen the ASUS is the best of them all, loads of features nad a good cooling system.

ASUS is a good mobo.
Why don't you get 2 x Samsung Spinpoint HDDs and put them in a RAID0 instead of a VelociRaptor, and then spend the difference on a GTX295?

agree.

stick with pc power + cooling.

from what I see, nearly all GPU and mobo makers use PC pow & coolin for their test/show rigs because they're the best, especially when it comes to crossfire/SLI.

I have a similar system running to the one you have selected:

920
Deluxe
U12P

Fast system! The P6T motherboard has some great features on it I would recommend.
